Abstract

This document describes a mechanism for encrypting trafficencapsulated using the Locator/ID Separation Protocol (LISP). Thedesign describes how key exchange is achieved using existing LISPcontrol-plane mechanisms as well as how to secure the LISP data planefrom third-party surveillance attacks.
