Abstract
This document defines a new optional Intermediate System toIntermediate System (IS-IS) TLV named CAPABILITY, formed of multiplesub-TLVs, which allows a router to announce its capabilities withinan IS-IS level or the entire routing domain. This document obsoletesRFC 4971.
