Abstract

The Incident Object Description Exchange Format (IODEF) defines adata representation for security incident reports and indicatorscommonly exchanged by operational security teams for mitigation andwatch and warning. This document describes an updated informationmodel for the IODEF and provides an associated data model specifiedwith the XML schema. This new information and data model obsoletesRFCs 5070 and 6685.
