Abstract

This memo documents a sampling of use cases for securely aggregatingconfiguration and operational data and evaluating that data todetermine an organization's security posture. From these operationaluse cases, we can derive common functional capabilities andrequirements to guide development of vendor-neutral, interoperablestandards for aggregating and evaluating data relevant to securityposture.
