Abstract

The Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF) provides mechanisms toinstall, manipulate, and delete the configuration of network devices. This document describes how to use the Transport Layer Security (TLS)protocol with mutual X.509 authentication to secure the exchange ofNETCONF messages.
