Abstract

The trustworthiness of location information is critically importantfor some location-based applications, such as emergency calling orroadside assistance.

This document describes threats to conveying location, particularlyfor emergency calls, and describes techniques that improve thereliability and security of location information. It also providesguidelines for assessing the trustworthiness of location information.
