Abstract

This document specifies the requirements for an end-to-end sessionidentifier in IP-based multimedia communication networks. Thisidentifier would enable endpoints, intermediate devices, andmanagement and monitoring systems to identify a session end-to-endacross multiple SIP devices, hops, and administrative domains.
