Abstract
This document describes the Diameter protocol application used forAuthentication, Authorization, and Accounting services in the NetworkAccess Server (NAS) environment; it obsoletes RFC 4005. Whencombined with the Diameter Base protocol, Transport Profile, andExtensible Authentication Protocol specifications, this applicationspecification satisfies typical network access services requirements.
