Abstract

This document describes the art of email greylisting, the practice ofproviding temporarily degraded service to unknown email clients as ananti-abuse mechanism.

Greylisting is an established mechanism deemed essential to therepertoire of current anti-abuse email filtering systems. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
