Abstract

This document investigates potential application scenarios and usecases for low-power wireless personal area networks (LoWPANs). Thisdocument provides dimensions of design space for LoWPAN applications.A list of use cases and market domains that may benefit and motivatethe work currently done in the 6LoWPAN Working Group is provided withthe characteristics of each dimension. A complete list of practicaluse cases is not the goal of this document. This document is not an Internet Standards Track specification; it is published for informational purposes.
