Abstract

The standardization of network configuration interfaces for use withthe Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF) requires a structuredand secure operating environment that promotes human usability andmulti-vendor interoperability. There is a need for standardmechanisms to restrict NETCONF protocol access for particular usersto a pre-configured subset of all available NETCONF protocoloperations and content. This document defines such an access controlmodel. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
