Abstract

This document defines an extension to the Session InitiationProtocol (SIP) to convey geographic location information from oneSIP entity to another SIP entity. The SIP extension coversend-to-end conveyance as well as location-based routing, where SIPintermediaries make routing decisions based upon the location of theLocation Target. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
