Abstract

The Delay-Tolerant Networking (DTN) Research Group research group hasdefined many protocols such as the Bundle Protocol and LickliderTransmission Protocol. The specifications of these protocols containfields that are subject to a registry. For the purpose of itsresearch work, the group created ad hoc registries. As thespecifications are stable and have multiple interoperableimplementations, the group would like to hand off the registries toIANA for official custody. This document describes the actionsexecuted by IANA. This document is not an Internet Standards Track specification; it is published for informational purposes.
