Location-to-Service Translation (LoST) maps service identifiers andlocation information to service contact URIs. If a LoST client wantsto discover available services for a particular location, it willperform a <listServicesByLocation> query to the LoST server. However, the LoST server, in its response, does not provide contextinformation; that is, it does not provide any additional informationabout the geographical region within which the returned list ofservices is considered valid. Therefore, this document defines aService List Boundary that returns a local context along with thelist of services returned, in order to assist the client in notmissing a change in available services when moving. This document defines an Experimental Protocol for the Internet community.
For the definition ofStatus,seeRFC 2026.
For the definition ofStream, seeRFC 8729.
