The General Internet Signaling Transport (GIST) protocol currentlyuses TCP or Transport Layer Security (TLS) over TCP for Connectionmode operation. This document describes the usage of GIST over theStream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) and Datagram TransportLayer Security (DTLS). This document defines an Experimental Protocolfor the Internet community.
