Abstract
The Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) specification for the WildcardForward Equivalence Class (FEC) element has several limitations. Thisdocument addresses those limitations by defining a Typed Wildcard FECElement and associated procedures. In addition, it defines a new LDPcapability to address backward compatibility.
