Abstract

This document describes an application-layer client-server protocolfor the provisioning and management of objects stored in a sharedcentral repository. Specified in XML, the protocol defines genericobject management operations and an extensible framework that mapsprotocol operations to objects. This document includes a protocolspecification, an object mapping template, and an XML media typeregistration. This document obsoletes RFC 4930. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
