Abstract

This specification defines the Control And Provisioning of WirelessAccess Points (CAPWAP) Protocol, meeting the objectives defined bythe CAPWAP Working Group in RFC 4564. The CAPWAP protocol isdesigned to be flexible, allowing it to be used for a variety ofwireless technologies. This document describes the base CAPWAPprotocol, while separate binding extensions will enable its use withadditional wireless technologies. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
