Abstract

This document defines Multi-Protocol BGP (MP-BGP) procedures that allowBGP speakers to exchange Route Target reachability information. Thisinformation can be used to build a route distribution graph in order tolimit the propagation of Virtual Private Network (VPN) Network LayerReachability Information (NLRI) between different autonomous systems ordistinct clusters of the same autonomous system. This document updatesRFC 4364. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
