Abstract

The One-Way Active Measurement Protocol (OWAMP) measuresunidirectional characteristics such as one-way delay and one-wayloss. High-precision measurement of these one-way IP performancemetrics became possible with wider availability of good timesources (such as GPS and CDMA). OWAMP enables the interoperabilityof these measurements. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
