Abstract
This document describes protocol extensions (hereafter called PKINIT)to the Kerberos protocol specification. These extensions provide amethod for integrating public key cryptography into the initialauthentication exchange, by using asymmetric-key signature and/orencryption algorithms in pre-authentication data fields.
