Born in St. Paul, Minn., Bryan earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2007 and master's degree in mass communication from South Dakota State University in 2017. Bryan has worked for numerous newspapers and was a senior reporter for KTNV-TV in Las Vegas in 2023 and 2024 as part of the Journalism Journey Initiative by the E.W. Scripps Company.
