Tuesday Talks
Our Tuesday talks (colloquially known as 'Dining with Dinosaurs') are the highlight of Reuben College's Academic Programme. World-class speakers are invited by Reuben's Fellows to speak, usually on a topic within the College's key research themes, followed by a dinner where guests debate a selection of questions inspired by the seminar and report their thoughts to the rest of the attendees.
These seminars take place in our beautiful Dining Hall each Tuesday during term time, with dinner provided by our in-house caterers. Seminars and meals are free of charge for Reuben students, fellows, and staff (a fee will apply for any non-Reuben guests).
The programme promises a wide range of talks spanning art, science, ethics, and improving the future of our planet. Please note that an invitation by Reuben College to speak at one of its Tuesday evening events does not imply that the College endorses the speaker's views, expressed previously or during the talk.
For a taster of what an evening at Dining with Dinosaurs is like please read theacademic case for these events, or blogs written by Reuben's Research Fellows (see below). Details of previous seminars can be found in the programmes listed below:

How to book
Dining with Dinosaurs is a Reuben tradition that exceeded my expectations. The opportunity of attending extremely interesting talks by renowned researchers, and the ability to further discuss their findings on a specific level and the topic on a broader level, is a big advantage.
