Why was Rappler+ set up?

Where does the money go?
Rappler+ membership fees as well as any donation made to Rappler go directly to funding our journalism and community initiatives. Because we are an independent media company, we rely on membership fees and donations, among others, to help sustain our operations. All contributions go towards growing our team, funding our research, and sustaining our news operations.
You get access to exclusive content, members-only events, and an exclusive community chat channel for plus members. How much does it cost to join Rappler+?
Members pay only P3,500 / $75 for an annual membership (12 months). This is billed as a one time payment every year and comes out to only P292 a month. You can also choose to pay at a monthly basis for P400 a month.

Cancellation and Refunds
Digital Subscriptions: All Rappler+ subscriptions are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your subscription before the end of your billing period, no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of your subscription.
Billing and Payment
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) according to the selected plan.
No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription term.
Subscription Changes
You may change your subscription type at any time, which may affect your billing frequency or amount.
Changes to your subscription will take effect in the next billing cycle.
