ABOUT US
Leader in Radiocarbon Dating Analysis
ICA has been providing radiocarbon (14C) dating services since 2013 and analyzed thousands of samples from all over the world. We process samples in our dedicated, tracer-free laboratory and use Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) to obtain results. ICA also offers stable isotope analysis (13C,15N,18O,2H) if requested.

What Can Be Dated?
ICA works with different types of samples for radiocarbon dating. Sample requirements for analysis can vary for each type of material and is important to handle packaging with care to avoid contamination. Only organic material can be dated by measuring its radiocarbon content. All living organisms exchange carbon with its environment up until the moment of their death, at which point the carbon exchange stops and the C-14 (a radioactive isotope) starts to decay.
