No, you won’t see any roads in Venice that a car could drive on. This also means that you won’t see any cars in Venice either. But, Venice does have streets for people to walk on – but cars are not really necessary or allowed in Venice. This is because the whole city is built around canals of water! All you will see are canals with water – and the local people (and tourists) use boats to get around the city. Once you get to the train station or Venice airport, you will need to take a motorboat to get to your destination – whether it’s a hotel or your home.
