2011: Manchester United 1-6 Manchester City

Manchester City inflicted Manchester United's worst home defeat since February 1955 as they thrashed the champions in ruthless fashion to go five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Mario Balotelli handed the away side the lead in the Manchester derby before Jonny Evans was dismissed just after the break.

Balotelli got his second of the match and Sergio Aguero added a third to put City in the driving seat.

Darren Fletcher pulled one back for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side but it didn’t stop City who completed the rout with a goal from David Silva and an Edin Dzeko brace.

The result left City at the top with 25 points, five clear of United in second.

2011: QPR 1-0 Chelsea

Chelsea had two players sent off and lost out to a Heidar Helguson penalty in a heated west London derby against Queens Park Rangers.

Helguson won the spot-kick after he was pushed by David Luiz and then beat Petr Cech, who got a touch on the effort.

Jose Bosingwa was sent off for bringing down Shaun Wright-Phillips when he went through on goal and Didier Drogba was then dismissed for a lunge on Adel Taarabt.

The result left Chelsea in third on 19 points, one point off second-placed Manchester United. Victory for QPR moved them up to 10th with 12 points.
