The UK Defence Intelligence has reported that fighting has been stepped up in two areas of the contact line in Ukraine's south over the past 48 hours.

Details:The combat actions south of the city of Orikhiv are reportedly clustered near the village of Robotyne, within the area of responsibility of the Russian 58th Combined Arms Army.

Quote:"Eighty kilometres to the east, Ukrainian forces defeated elements of Russian airborne forces’ (VDV) 247th Guards Air Assault Regiment to capture the village of Staromaiorske," the UK MoD stated.

Details:Meanwhile, as noted, other Russian air assault forces in the north maintain offensive operations in the Serebrianka Forest west of the city of Kreminna, having made no significant progress.
