When the North Carolina sun turns up the heat at Pinehurst, our two pools stand ready to cool things off. The Carolina Hotel West Lawn hosts our largest pool, complete with a kiddie pool, misting pool, whirlpool and more. At The Holly Inn, a quieter, more intimate space awaits for those seeking serene moments spent poolside. And since both pools are heated, even when summer begins to slip into fall, there are still comfortable, refreshing times to be had.
Carolina Hotel West Lawn
The Carolina Hotel West Lawn’s expansive area features a large heated pool, kiddie pool, misting pool, fireplace and outdoor whirlpool. Guests can also enjoy the putting green and lawn for throwing the football or other activities.

Hours of Operation
- Daily: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cabana bar and kitchen hours
- Bar Only: Friday - Sunday: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Food: Ordered and delivered through Room Service with after-hours menu Monday - Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Maintenance
- Weekly maintenance is performed Monday mornings before 11 a.m.
- The pool will be open on Memorial Day and Labor Day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The pool will follow the 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. maintenance schedule on the Tuesday that follows these holidays.
Comfort & Safety
- The saline-based pool is heated.
- No lifeguards on duty.
Holly Inn Pool
The pool at The Holly Inn is a more intimate, quiet space for sunning and relaxing.
Hours of Operation
- When the Holly Inn is closed, the pool will also be closed.
