TheSeed Hive (タントタネギシリ?, lit.: "Closely Packed Plenty of Seeds") is afruit inPikmin 3 and atreasure inPikmin 4. It is apapaya. InPikmin 3, it is worth two and a half bottles ofjuice (one and a quarter inUltra-Spicy mode), and is only found in theTwilight River. InPikmin 4, it can be found in theFrozen Inferno and theGiant's Hearth.

The Seed Hive is dropped from the sky upon defeating theScornet Maestro, for whatever reason. SinceLouie and the fruit are the most important objects, send them first before harvesting the Scornet Maestro and the Scornets. IfWinged Pikmin are to carry the Seed Hive, make sure theArachnode near base is taken out, as well as theFlighty Joustmite.

Frozen Inferno[edit]
There is a Seed Hive behind a corner near the center of sublevel 3 of theFrozen Inferno. It is guarded by anArctic Cannon Larva, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 12 Pikmin at it.
Giant's Hearth[edit]

There is a Seed Hive inside of aBug-Eyed Crawmad near the central north of the map. To collect this treasure, you must defeat the Bug-Eyed Crawmad, then throw 12Blue Pikmin at it, or 12 Pikmin if you have already constructed the clay valve and deactivated the sprinkler.
