ThePrincess Pearl (ヒメシンジュ?, lit.: "Princess Pearl") is atreasure found inPikmin 2 andPikmin 4. InPikmin 2, it appears as something resembling the bead of apearl necklace, an earring, or a Christmas tree ornament. InPikmin 4, the treasure instead resembles thenatural pearl of a clam. Being found inside of aPearly Clamclamp it can be assumed that it is the creature's pearl, though serving the role of a treasure in this game as opposed to the creature's carriable corpse inPikmin.
Collecting the treasure inPikmin 2[edit]

This treasure can be found on sublevel 6 of theCavern of Chaos, inside of aWollyhop. Due to this sublevel featuring manyelectrical hazards in the form ofAnode Beetles andelectrical wires,Yellow Pikmin are highly recommended in dealing with these hazards before carrying back the treasure. Additionally, there are lot ofwater bodies present in this sublevel, meaning that there is a chance that theWollyhop containing the Princess Pearl can spawn in the water. If this is the case,Blue Pikmin should be used due to their water immunity.

Location of the Princess Pearl in theSerene Shores.
This treasure is inside aPearly Clamclamp in the circular arena in the northeastern corner of theSerene Shores. This enemy only appears after the middle of the day, when the tide is low. To collect this treasure, the Pearly Clampclamp must be defeated, which can be done by throwing Pikmin onto the treasure and whistling them off before the Clamclamp manages to clam its mouth down on your Pikmin.
