TheOmega Stabilizer (オメガスタビライザー?, lit.: "Omega Stabilizer") is aship part found inPikmin andOlimar's Shipwreck Tale inPikmin 4. It can be described as theS.S. Dolphin's "fin", which the ship needs in order to fly straight again. It helpedOlimar's ship fly through countless deep space storms, and his opinion on it is that it looks cool. InPikmin, this part is found inside the game's onlyPuffstool.
When collected, this ship part is adjusted in size and shape, and covers up the metal frame of the fin at port (Captain Olimar's left when seated). It resembles an apple slice.

InThe Forest Navel, take out 30Red Pikmin (take a few extra if you think you might lose some) and go to the area with theFiery Blowhogs. Go around the piece of land sticking out of the ground, to the left of theblowhogs. Defeat theMale Sheargrubs,Shearwigs, and the loneWollyhop on the way and go to the darkest part of theregion with theCommon Glowcaps and defeat thePuffstool. Have the 30 Red Pikmin carry the part back to theship.
InPikmin 4[edit]
The Omega Stabilizer is on a plateau directly east from the Fragrant Ravine base. Bring a decently sized squad ofRed Pikmin and eitherMoss or at least 15Yellow Pikmin. Approach the plateau from the south, either by building aclay mound near the Fragrant Ravine or by going past theBurrowing Snagret's arena and turning right. Throw 3bomb rocks (Mines andTrackonators also work) to destroy thereinforced wall and use your Red Pikmin to defeat thePyroclasmic Slooches in the way. The Omega Stabilizer sits on a blue platform, so to collect it, you must either throw 15 Yellow Pikmin onto the platform or knock the part down with tworushes from Moss.

I absolutely must have this piece if my battered ship is ever to fly straight again. It has steered me trough countless deep space storms. That, and it looks rather cool.
This is the Dolphin's fin. It is a little beaten up, but it should still function. I've made great strides in repairing the Dolphin! With this, I should be able to fly again-even if I don't recover all 30 parts.”
