TheMechanical Harp (Memory Song) is atreasure inPikmin 4. It is a music box that, when carried or interacted with in theTreasure Catalog, plays themain theme ofPikmin 3. Underneath its bottom is an engraving that reads "H13.001026", which stands for Heisei 13 October 26, the release date forPikmin using theJapanese era calendar scheme that corresponds to October 26^th, 2001 in the Gregorian calendar.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

It is on a ledge at the northeastern section of theBlossoming Arcadia. It is too high to be reached by most Pikmin and cannot be knocked down with arush fromOatchi, meaningYellow Pikmin are recommended for collecting it. To collect this treasure, you can throw 7 Yellow Pikmin at it. Alternatively, using the gyro controls, you can throw any Pikmin up the high ledge.

Trivia[edit]

• Olimar's notes about "shivers" and a "warning" are likely referring to his run-in with thePlasm Wraith, the final boss ofPikmin 3 that captured and imprisoned him.
  • By extension, his phrasing in future tense suggests the events ofPikmin 3 have not yet happened as ofPikmin 4.
• Louie believes that the main theme ofPikmin 3 would be perfect to listen to while drinking juice. This is presumably areference to that game's gameplay loop, in which the protagonists must survive by drinking juice from thefruits they gather over the course of the game.
  • It may also very well be in reference to Louie proceeding to rob said protagonists of their collected juice immediately after they rescued him.
