TheBug Bait (虫寄せせんべい?, lit.: "Insect Gathering Wafer") is atreasure found inPikmin 2. It is avanilla wafer. It is found inside aFiery Bulblax in the first sublevel of theSubmerged Castle. Retrieving the treasure can be quite difficult because the Bulblax and multipleFiery Blowhogs must be fought with onlyBlue Pikmin.
Collecting the treasure[edit]

This treasure is within a sleepingFiery Bulblax on sublevel 1 of theSubmerged Castle. The main problem is that onlyBlue Pikmin can enter this cave, andBulbmin are only found on the later sublevels. In order to get the treasure, you need to lure the Bulblax into the water to extinguish it. Fighting it head on can be tricky, but with a spray or some knowledge on how to predict the Grub Dog's actions, it can be taken down. Sometimes, the Bulblax will be in the water from the start, drastically shortening the time taken to fight the beast. Using a leader to beat the beast to death is not recommended, as theWaterwraith may spawn if it takes too long, and this small and cramped sublevel is not an ideal place to deal with the creature.
