Theranks system is used to show how much experience a user has withPikmin Fanon. The basic guidelines for rankings are below. Users should not discriminate or judge other users because of their ranking; doing so is punishable.

Although only the highest rank should be displayed on a user's profile, every rank up to and including it may be displayed if preferred.

If a user is eligible for ranks sprout through flower, they do not need to ask another user to confirm that they are. For ranks magenta and higher, users must confirm with staff that they have met the requirements, particularly the maturity requirement being up to staff discretion.

Users should consultSpecial:Editcount to see the number of edits they have made.

Additionally, users with higher ranks are more likely to be considered to become part of Pikmin Fanon'sstaff.

Maturity

In thePikmin series, Pikmin can be in one of three stages of maturity: leaf, bud, or flower. The more mature a Pikmin is, the more efficient it is at completing tasks. There are several ways for Pikmin to increase and decrease in maturity.

In Pikmin Fanon, a user's maturity reflects how much they have contributed to the wiki. User maturity is up to the discretion of the staff members, who can discuss a user's maturity to determine a consensus on what rank that user is ready for. Simply put, the staff will decide if a user is mature enough to advance to the next rank.

Maturity rubric (for use by staff members)

• Ways that users gain maturity:
  • Developing their own Pikmin Fanon games (the more detailed, the better!) or creating other content on the wiki (be it user versions, fanfiction, or collaborating on other people's projects).
  • Welcoming new users to Pikmin Fanon and generally being helpful and friendly to users of the community.
  • Helping out around the wiki.
• Ways that users lose maturity:
  • Frequently making low-quality/spam pages (please be more lenient with new users!).
  • Being unfriendly or unhelpful toward other users (a reputation of this is very bad for maturity).
  • Consistently not following thepolicies and guidelines (this is for a consistent lack of following, not for mistakes, especially for newer users).

Ranks

Sprout

This user has achieved thesprout rank.

Thesprout is the lowest rank. It is the initial rank for all users.

Up until magenta bud rank, users do not need to check with staff to see if they have met the maturity requirements for a new rank.

Leaf

This user has achieved theleaf rank.

Theleaf is the second rank. It is for users that have at least 100 edits. Users that are this rank or higher can work on the community game and are eligible to join theGuild of Bulborbs.

Ideally, users should have started a fanonPikmin project or done an equivalent amount of work helping out on the wiki or collaborating with other users.

Bud

This user has achieved thebud rank.

Thebud is the third rank. It is for users that have at least 250 edits.

Flower

This user has achieved theflower rank.

Theflower is the fourth rank. It is for users that have at least 500 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 2 weeks.

Ideally, users should have a well-established fanonPikmin project or have done an equivalent amount of work helping out on the wiki or collaborating with other users.

Magenta bud

This user has achieved themagenta bud rank.

Themagenta bud is the fifth rank. It is for users with at least 1,000 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 1 month. Users must check with a staff member to see if they are eligible for this rank.

Magenta flower

This user has achieved themagenta flower rank.

Themagenta flower is the sixth rank. It is for users with at least 2,000 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 2 months.

This rank is the last of the 6 original ranks from before the June 14^th, 2025 ranks overhaul.

Lavender bud

This user has achieved thelavender bud rank.

Thelavender bud is the seventh rank. It is for users with at least 4,000 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 3 months.

Lavender flower

This user has achieved thelavender flower rank.

Thelavender flower is the eighth rank. It is for users with at least 6,000 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 6 months.

Golden bud

This user has achieved thegolden bud rank.

Thegolden bud is the ninth rank. It is for users with at least 10,000 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 9 months.

Thegolden flower is the tenth and last regular rank. It is for users with at least 15,000 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 1 year.

Ultra-spicy flower

This user has achieved the specialultra-spicy flower rank!

This special rank,ultra-spicy flower, is awarded to those who have gone way above the call of duty in editing here. It is for users with at least 30,000 edits who have been on Pikmin Fanon for at least 2 years. Only users with this rank may give it out.

Unattainable ranks

"All ranks"

This user achieved the now-removedall ranks rank!

This special rank,all ranks, was the equivalent of the ultra-spicy rank. Attaining it required having the master flower rank (the highest "normal" rank at the time), making over 2,000 edits, having 3 user talk page archives, and either an extremely detailed fanonPikmin project or 2+ reasonably detailed fanon projects. Also, the user had to have been registered on Pikmin Fanon for at least 1 year. Only users of this rank could give it out, and users of this rank were eligible to become part of Pikmin Fanon's staff.

This rank was decommissioned on June 14^th, 2025, when the ranks system was overhauled. Its only use now is a legacy decoration on the user pages of those who earned it when it was available.
