Kings sinapawan ng Aces

Eksplosibong fourth quarter run ang ipinamalas ng Alaska Aces para sa kanilang come-from-behind na panalo kontra sa Barangay Ginebra, 79-75 sa pag-usad ng aksiyon sa Selecta-PBA All-Filipino Cup sa PhilSports Arena ka-gabi.

Mula sa 15 puntos na pagkakabaon, nilimitahan ng Aces ang Kings sa isang basket lamang habang pinagtulung-tulungan nina Kenneth Duremdes, Ali Peek, Don Allado at John Arigo ang 21 puntos na produksiyon para sa ikaapat na panalo ng Alaska sa pitong paki-kipaglaban.

Matapos ang mahabang paghahabol, naagaw ng Aces ang kala-mangan sa pamamagitan ng magkasunod na basket ni Arigo, 76-75, 38 segundo na lamang ang natitirang oras sa laro.

Isang travelling violation ang nakamit ni Mark Caguioa na naging sanhi ng isang turnover na nagbigay daan sa split shot ni Arigo para sa dalawang puntos na kalamangan ng Aces 77-75.

Pinangunahan ni Peek ang Alaska sa kanyang tinapos na 22 puntos kasunod si Arigo na may 16 puntos habang sina Duremdes at Allado ay kumamada ng 15 at 13 puntos ayon sa pagkaka-sunod, upang sapawan ang eksplosibong laro nina Caguioa at Limpot na namuno para sa Ginebra sa kanilang 22 at 24 puntos ayon sa pagkaka-sunod.

Samantala, tuluy-tuloy ang aksiyon sa Cuneta Astrodome kung saan may dalawang sultadang nakatakda ngayon.
