Signed limited edition, number 85 of 100 copies signed by the illustrator. An impressive example from the golden age of book illustration, this collection includes the tales of Ali Baba, Sindbad the Sailor, and Aladdin.

Quarto. Colour frontispiece, 11 colour plates, all tipped in and with captioned tissue guards, as issued.
Original vellum, spine and front cover lettered and pictorially decorated with Arabian scenes in gilt, rear cover with genie lamp motif in blind, top edge gilt, others uncut.
Gift inscription dated 1929, and more recent ownership inscription, on front free endpaper. Spot of wear to spine foot, else beautifully preserved: near-fine.
