Marc Boorshtein has been a software engineer and consultant for 20 years and is currently the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of Tremolo Security, Inc. Marc has spent most of his career building identity management solutions for large enterprises, U.S. Government civilian agencies, and local government public safety systems.

Kaiwan N. Billimoria taught himself BASIC programming on his dad's IBM PC back in 1983. He was programming in C and Assembly on DOS until he discovered the joys of Unix, and by around 1997, Linux!nKaiwan has worked on many aspects of the Linux system programming stack, including Bash scripting, system programming in C, kernel internals, device drivers, and embedded Linux work. He has actively worked on several commercial/FOSS projects. His contributions include drivers to the mainline Linux OS and many smaller projects hosted on GitHub. His Linux passion feeds well into his passion for teaching these topics to engineers, which he has done for well over two decades now. He's also the author of Hands-On System Programming with Linux, Linux Kernel Programming (and its Part 2 book) and Linux Kernel Debugging. It doesn't hurt that he is a recreational ultrarunner too.

Ryan Mangan, with over 17 years in the tech industry, specializes in cloud and end-user computing. His deep understanding of end-user computing, virtual desktop products, applications, networks, and virtualization has earned him recognition as a Microsoft MVP and Parallels VIPP, and previously a VMware vExpert, a title held for over a decade. An author and speaker, he shares his knowledge, fostering growth in the community. In 2023, he established Efficient Ether, concentrating on cloud optimization, sustainability, and generative AI, demonstrating his commitment to advancing sustainable technology software solutions.

Russ McKendrick is an experienced DevOps practitioner and system administrator with a passion for automation and containers. He has been working in IT and related industries for the better part of 30 years. During his career, he has had responsibilities in many different sectors, including first-line, second-line, and senior support in client-facing and internal teams for small and large organizations.nHe works almost exclusively with Linux, using open source systems and tools across dedicated hardware and virtual machines hosted in public and private clouds at Node4, where he holds the title of practice manager (SRE and DevOps). He also buys way too many records!

Julian Balog is a senior software engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. Currently, his work primarily focuses on application delivery controllers, containerized workflows, networking, and security. With a never-ending passion for Linux and open-source technologies, Julian is always in pursuit of learning new things while solving problems and making things work through simple, efficient, and practical engineering. He lives with his wife, two children, and an Aussie-doodle in the greater Seattle area, Washington.

Alexandru Calcatinge is an open-minded architect with a background in computer science and mathematics. He is a senior university lecturer with a PhD in urban planning from Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urban Planning and a postgraduate degree in DevOps from Caltech’s Center for Technology and Management Education (CTME). He teaches students about architectural programming and development and open source technologies. He has authored five books on architecture and urban planning and numerous scientific articles on urban and rural development. Alex was certified as a Linux trainer in 2017. He loves the DevOps philosophy and the possibilities that cloud technologies bring for the future. He is also a certified programming analyst, computer network administrator, trainer, designer, and life coach.

Gaurav Agarwal is a Senior Cloud Engineer at ThoughtSpot with over a decade of experience as a seasoned Cloud and DevOps Engineer. Previously, Gaurav served as a Cloud Solutions Architect at Capgemini and Software Developer at TCS. With a distinguished list of certifications, including HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, and Security Specialist, he possesses an impressive technical profile. Gaurav's extensive background encompasses roles where he played pivotal roles in infrastructure setup, cloud management, and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines. His technical prowess extends to numerous technical blog posts and a published book, underscoring his commitment to advancing the field.

Alex Ivanov is an experienced cloud engineer with a primary focus on supporting companies in their journeys to adopt Azure services. Alex has worked for Microsoft for eight years as a cloud support engineer and four years as an Azure Technical Trainer.nAlex is an expert in software engineering and digital transformation who has helped many customers to migrate their solutions to Azure. His experience has helped him gain multiple certifications in software development, AI, and data platforms. As a professional trainer, Alex has already educated thousands of clients and helped them to prepare for and pass the Azure certification exams.nIn his free time, while not being jumped on by his three kids, he enjoys camping, boating, running, and building RC models.

Paul Ivey, is an experienced engineer, architect, and trainer, specializing in Microsoft technologies, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud.nIn his five years at Microsoft, Paul has been a secure infrastructure engineer and app innovation engineer and has helped hundreds of enterprise customers adopt DevOps practices and develop solutions for Azure. Paul is now a Microsoft Technical Trainer, providing training for Microsoft customers to help them with preparing to pass Azure exams, including the AZ-204 exam.nOriginally from Devon in the UK, Paul currently lives in Cheltenham in the beautiful Cotswolds area of England. In his spare time, Paul is a keen PC gamer and enjoys traveling abroad to experience foreign sights, cultures, and food (mostly food).

Gineesh Madapparambath brings over 15 years of IT service management and consultancy expertise, specializing in infrastructure and automation projects.
