Step 1.Check your eligibility
This service is only for City of Orlando residents.
If you are not the homeowner, you can ask them to emailopdcrimeprevention@orlando.gov stating their permission for us to meet with you for the assessment.
Step 2.Determine your preferred days and time
The in-person assessment takes 1-2 hours and is provided Monday through Friday only. The preferred time range is 8-11 a.m.
Step 4.We will contact you to schedule a date and time
After you submit your request, someone from the Downtown Community Policing Division will email or call you within 2 business days to schedule your appointment.
Step 5.We will come to your home to do the assessment
At your appointment, we will provide you with our findings. You will get an assessment with some security options to consider for your home.
