Biography: Nicholas Hoult is an English actor and producer. He began his career in the UK, appearing in films and television shows as a child. He is best known for his roles in the films "About a Boy" oppositeHugh Grant and in the "X-Men" film franchise.

Hoult started his career as a child actor in the British television series "Intimate Relations" and then went on to appear in films such as "Mad Max: Fury Road" and the Oscar-nominated "The Favourite".

Hoult has won various awards for his performances, including the London Film Critics Circle award for British Actor of the Year in 2011 and a BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2017. He is also a producer, having produced the 2019 film "The Great Darkened Days".

On television Hoult appeared in "The Great" (2020-2023) withElle Fanning, based on the life of Catharine the Great and was nominated for both a Golden Globe and an Emmy.
