Biography: Of Malaysian and Chinese descent, Michelle Yeoh started her film career in Hong Kong action and martial arts films, often doing her own stunts. In 1992 she starred alongsideJackie Chan in "Police Story 3: Super Cop" and in 1993 in "Tai Chi Master" with Jet Li.

Yeoh made her first Hollywood film in 1997 in the James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies" oppositePierce Brosnan and was widely acclaimed for her role in the martial arts "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" (2000) directed byAng Lee.

More recently she starred in the film adaptation of "Crazy Rich Asians"Constance Wu and Henry Golding. The film was notable for being the first by a major Hollywood studio to feature an all Asian cast with a contemporary setting.
