Biography: Dennis Lillee is an Australian cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of the sport. His fearsome pace, impeccable accuracy, and aggressive playing style made him a formidable opponent during his international career, which spanned from 1971 to 1984.

Lillee made his Test debut for Australia in 1971, and it didn't take long for him to establish himself as a world-class bowler. Throughout his career, he formed a lethal partnership with fellow Australian fast bowler Jeff Thomson, a duo that terrorized opposition batsmen for many years.

In 1972, Lillee suffered a career-threatening back injury, but he managed to make a remarkable comeback, modifying his bowling technique and continuing to perform at the highest level. This demonstrated his resilience and determination, both of which became hallmarks of his career.

Lillee retired from international cricket in 1984 with an impressive 355 Test wickets to his name, a world record at the time. His average of 23.92 remains one of the best for any fast bowler in Test cricket history.
