Me llamo Simon Ager, vivo enBangor, en Gales, y me gano la vida en Omniglot. Soy originario deLancashire en el noroeste de Inglaterra, y he vivido en Francia, Taiwán y Japón.
Los idiomas me han fascinado durante mucho tiempo, y he estudiado un gran número de ellos. Mi idioma natal es el inglés, y puedo hablar chino mandarín, francés, galés, irlandés, gaélico escocés, manés, alemán, español y japonés, más o menos. También tengo un conocimiento básico del taiwanés, cantonés, esperanto, italiano, portugués, checo, ruso, bréton, y del idioma británico de señas (BSL).

Después de los idiomas mi pasión principal es la música -canto en varios coros y otros grupos,escribo canciones, toco variosinstrumentos musicales y suelo ir a conciertos. Me gusta mucho leer y el malabarismo también.
A propósito, en caso de que se lo pregunten, mi apellido,Ager, se pronuncia /'eɪgə/ . Aparentemente proviene del nombre sajónĒadgār.
