Biography

Charlie Hickcox had an outstanding record in the IM and backstroke at every level of competition. He held seven NCAA individual titles, led Indiana to two team championships, won nine AAU titles, and was twice a gold medalist at the Pan-American Games. Hickcox also set eight world records. He became a coach and occasional television announcer. Hickcox married U.S. Olympic diverLesley Bush, though they later divorced. After graduating from Indiana he attended law school at Northern Kentucky State University. He became a member of the Arizona Bar and later pursued a career in commercial real estate, establishing the Feldman-Hickcox Company.
