Last Christmas & Mariah appear to be declining a few positions weekly each year... maybe in a few years time someone could take advantage of that!

'Dracula' grew on me when I heard it on the BBC!
Piran
I was worried that the song would drop off fast after Halloween but I'm glad it didn't.
Piran
Does anyone else feel like 2025 is ending on a rather disappointing note?
Mind you, this year hasn’t exactly been the best for the charts anyway. The music quality is fine but the movement has been slow even with ACR.
Hopefully 2026 will be a lot more interesting and we won’t have two songs spend nearly half the year at the summit between them.

I think the amount of album drops In 2024 caused the 2025 stagnant period of the charts. 2026 is already looking to be better for music!
Piran
Yeah, I think there'll be fewer carryovers in 2026 than there have been in 2025.
Piran
Congratulations to Sienna Spiro on her first Top 10 single and with a very good song to boot!
Piran
Regarding ‘I Run’ being disqualified last week, it turns out that it was because HAVEN used Suno to manipulate his voice and make them sound like female vocals.
Specifically, many people found the song to be misrepresenting Jorja Smith. There’s a new version of it with real vocals from a singer called Kaitlin Aragon, but it sounds almost identical to the original.
Either way, I hope this sends a message to the industry that songs using AI-generated vocals aren’t welcome in the charts.

"Haven's" career just started and there already cancelled lmao
Worst industry plant EVER
Piran
The song appears to be back on streaming services and I really hope it doesn't take off in the same way.
Piran
I wish ‘Ocean Eyes’ made the Top 40 as predicted but it’s fantastic to see it back at a new peak for its 10th anniversary!
Crazy to think it’s already been an entire decade since Billie made her debut with this. I’ve always loved her softer vocals and upper register on it.

Never heard the full song but i've heard the viral part many times tbh.
Piran
I think you'd like it.
Piran
So a David Guetta remix of ‘Where Is My Husband!’ got released last week, which meant it closed the margin on ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’ and ‘Golden’ by a fair bit.
It seems like RAYE is really starting to campaign for the #1! Not only that, but HUNTR/X are probably going on ACR next week looking at the weekly streaming figures.

mateushonrado
Well, it disappoints me that "Golden" never topped The Big Top 40 Show, despite heavy rotation on Capital.

I'm surprised if a David Guetta remix would do much.. I mean, who cares about Guetta? Aside from him occasionally getting a minor new radio hit, he only drops half baked remixes most of the other times. Sad part is that I think he has the potential to be better, but i just don't think Guetta cares enough to try.
Piran
Big Top 40 also counts airplay from Heart FM so I'm guessing it struggled there.
Piran
David Guetta's remix seems to be getting a lot of airplay and it's a lot better than I expected. That said, I forgot RAYE had vinyl this week, so they probably contributed to its boost even more.
Either way, 'Where Is My Husband!' is heading for a new peak based on the First Look. :)
