Breaking Dishes never originally charted such a good song. Glad its getting what it's due now.

Fantastic to see Jealous Type debuting so high this week!! Funny that it’s Doja’s 2nd #13 debut this year haha (and both of those songs are my 2 most streamed songs of 2025 so far 😭😭)

Honestly, this chart was really really interesting! Fantastic to see Olivia have 3 songs in the top 10 as well as Dive re-entering inside of the top 40 (long overdue!!), and the Chappell/Coldplay re-entries were very very big surprises :) We need to keep this up!!

Tears by Sabrina Carpenter debuted at #169 on UK Spotify with an hour of tracking.. i think we’ve found our #1 for next week! 😅

I’m kind of mixed on Doja Cat’s music but ‘Jealous Type’ is a very promising start to this new era. The hook has been stuck in my head all week.

Disappointed that ‘If He Wanted To He Would’ couldn’t hold onto its Top 40 placement. Between this and ‘Forget About Us’, the singles for Perrie’s upcoming debut solo album have definitely impressed me so far.

I’d much rather have taken that over ‘Ceremony’. I don’t mind Stray Kids but I’m not a fan of this new single of theirs at all. :(

The new Florence + The Machine single is fine. Not among their best but it’s impressive to see them still charting new music in 2025.

Very happy that Wolf Alice got their second song to debut this year. Pleased that they’re seeing success beyond just the radio.

Speaking of underrated indie-rock groups, can we please get Beach Bunny back on the charts? I like a lot of their music but their new single is fantastic!

Woah… I wasn’t expecting to see a track from Rihanna’s ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ in the Top 40 today. Definitely not complaining about it, especially when 'Breakin' Dishes' is a very good song to boot. 

Idk whether to be more surprised about that or the huge rebound for ‘Viva La Vida’. Again, it’s one of my all-time favourites from Coldplay, so I’m absolutely fine with that.

I didn’t just step into a time machine and go back to the 2000s, did I? 😭

’12 To 12’ at #11, really? One place higher and it would’ve been a Top 10 hit. One place lower and it would’ve been a funny coincidence.

In all seriousness, I’m happy that this secured a new peak once again!

‘Golden’ had a significant lead at the top looking at the sales figures from Wednesday. Not sure it’s going to be enough to keep ‘Tears’ from #1 next week though given how strong of a start it made on streaming.

Speaking of K-Pop Demon Hunters, I’d like to see ‘What It Sounds Like’ and ‘Free’ eventually chart from the soundtrack.

I’m amazed by how much success Olivia Dean has had this year. Never would’ve expected this a few months ago.
