Anyway, quick observation because I feel like so many songs lately have been underappreciated simply because of the longevity of other hits. Songs like Angel Of My Dreams, Abracadabra, FUFN, Carry You Home, Blessings, Old Phone etc. All deserved number one. I honestly have no clue how Ordinary did what it did but it has messed up this year. What is odd though, is there must have been a very specific way Ordinary got number one because it Peaked At No 2 on the Big Top 40.

Thing is with the Big Top 40 though, can we trust it when everything Ed Sheeran releases goes number one somehow.

there are some exciting changes in the top ten. many singles that are past their expiry date have finally dropped. it's too bad that "love me not" was impacted by acr as well.

i hope that "nice to each other" continues to rise.

could "blessings" have what it takes to give calvin another chart topper? i hope so. the song has grown on me a lot.

Absolutely ecstatic that ‘Nice To Each Other’ made the Top 10 today! ❤️

I’m fairly indifferent on the Justin Bieber tracks that charted. If anything, ‘All I Can Take’ probably has the most potential to grow on me. Good to see BLACKPINK back in the charts as a group and with a fun single to boot!

Honestly, most of my favourite debuts are further down, like ‘Back To Me’, ‘Lady Lady’, ‘Take My Mind’ and ‘Is It?’. Hopefully at least one of them will be a slow burner as the summer progresses.

I guess we can add Wet Leg to the list of acts I like that get a #1 album yet no singles chart entries in the week after its release.

Oh well, at least ‘Catch These Fists’ very briefly charted in April, but come on, this is still a group that deserve to have bigger hits.

Man, this K-Pop Demon Hunters takeover keeps getting better, doesn’t it?

‘Golden’ grew on me massively over the past few days, so it’s good to see it break into the Top 10!

That being said, I wish ‘Soda Pop’ replaced ‘How It’s Done’ like it did in the midweek update as it’s the better of the two for me.

About time ‘Pink Pony Club’ got hit by ACR. Nothing against the song itself and I’m happy that it took Chappell Roan to the top, but it’s been here long enough.

I wish ‘Love Me Not’ managed at least a week at #1 but it did really well nonetheless.

Definitely not complaining about ‘Azizam’ and ‘Shake It To The Max’ dropping with them either.

I’m loving the dance music resurgence on the charts this month!

‘Dior’ gets a second week at the summit, ‘Blessings’ hits a new peak again, and best of all, ‘No Broke Boys’ and ‘High On Me’ take big leaps up the chart.

Hopefully Tinashe and Jazzy can break into the Top 10 in the weeks ahead.
