Harry Styles announced as curator for Meltdown Festival 2026 to celebrate 75th anniversary of Southbank Centre
Styles joins an incredible list of artists who have curated the festival before him

Harry Styles has been announced as the curator for this year's 2026 Meltdown Festival at London's Southbank Centre.
Set to be a milestone celebration as part of the Southbank Centre's 75th anniversary, the festival will run from Thursday 11 June until Sunday 21 June, with a line-up set to be revealed late this year around spring time.
The formerOne Direction star joins a star-studded list of artists who have previously curated the festival includingDavid Bowie,Nick Cave,Jarvis Cocker,Patti Smith and many others.
Speaking on the news, Styles said: "I'm deeply honoured to curate the Meltdown Festival, especially for the Southbank Centre's 75th anniversary year. My goal as the curator is to share the music and art that I love, and to celebrate the rich history of the venue.
"It brings us together and the Southbank Centre has been at the heart of it, providing easy access to great music for the past 75 years. I'm incredibly grateful to Southbank for having me, it's really exciting for me to have this opportunity in such an iconic venue."
Jane Beese, Head of Contemporary Music at Southbank also added that Styles' "openness, warmth and instinct for collaboration feel perfectly aligned with the spirit at the heart of the festival".

The news comes after a whirlwind start to 2026 for Styles, in which he has announced a new album coming in March, gained a Number 1 single withAperture and revealed a blockbuster world tour including a record-breaking 12 nights at Wembley Stadium.
