To meet the rapidly increasing compute demands of high-performance computing (HPC) and AI, organizations need to connect more cluster servers and GPUs, as well as storage resources. NVIDIA gateways give IT administrators the infrastructure flexibility and scalability they need to connect with external Ethernet infrastructures.
NVIDIA® Skyway™ enables high-speed, low-latency connectivity from NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand to Ethernet networks. As a scalable gateway appliance, Skyway allows IT administrators to meet the growing demands of users over time. By leveraging the Skyway appliance, InfiniBand-connected data centers can maintain a low-latency interconnect, ensuring optimal application performance.

The NVIDIA Skyway appliance is a 1.6 terabit-per-second (Tb/s) InfiniBand-to-Ethernet gateway supporting eight 100 or 200 Gb gigabit ports on each InfiniBand and Ethernet side. Customers can easily scale the number of Skyway appliances over time to meet user demand.

The SB7880 InfiniBand router offers 36 fully flexible 100 Gb/s InfiniBand ports, which can be split among six different subnets, enabling new levels of isolation and compute-to-storage connectivity.
We're here to help you build the most efficient, high performance network.
