What is Clearing?

Clearing is how universities and colleges fill places they still have on courses.

You can use Clearing if:

  • You’re not already holding an offer from a university or college.
  • The course you wish to apply for still has places.
  • You didn’t receive any offers (or none you wanted to accept).
  • You didn’t meet the conditions of your offers.
  • You’ve declined your firm place in your application.

UCAS Clearing Guides

NPTC Group of Colleges Direct Application

We still have places on many of our HE courses.

You can use the College Online Application Portal if:

  • You do not already have a UCAS application in progress.
  • You only want to apply to study at NPTC Group of Colleges.
  • You are applying to study a part-time course or a degree apprenticeship.
  • You are applying for a top-up degree.
  • You already hold qualifications and/or experience that meet the entry requirement.
